…the acceptable way of worshipping the true God is instituted by himself, and so limited
by his own revealed will, that he may not be worshipped according to the imaginations
and devices of men, or the suggestions of Satan, under any visible representation, or any
other way not prescribed in the holy Scripture (Westminster Confession of Faith 21:1).
Our worship services are simple, reverent, dignified, and centered on the Word of God.
We read and preach from the Bible. We pray, confess our faith, and celebrate the
sacraments. We sing psalms and hymns of the Christian faith with simple musical
accompaniment that assists our singing. We recite the creeds of the ancient church,
along with the confessions and catechisms of the Reformation.
